Bloggers Night to Remember

It all started with these little boxes full of flowers being hand delivered to each of the girls by one of our very own Holzweiler gentlemen. 

The notes inside invited the girls to an intimate dinner in the showroom with some of our favorite bloggers, but we left most of the details of the evening out. 

You know how much we love surprises around here!!

The surprises began by picking the girls up in Aker Brygge and escorting them here to Lysaker by this beautiful boat. Accompanied with pink champagne and two of our finest men of course!

Once the girls arrived, they were immediately greeted by a long, candle lit table. The table was dressed with a photo runner featuring a preview of the Fall 12 collections from each of the designers housed in the Holzweiler Agency and a canopy of colorful scarves to foreshadow some of the things to come...

.....but that was just the beginning!

Next, Andreas and Susanne welcomed all the guests to the showroom with a toast of sparkling wine and beer.

Once we were seated, the surprises continued. Each of our guests received an incredible gift from Danish Jewelry Designer Line & Jo consisting of 3 of their unique ear pieces, a leather bracelet from Cala & Jade and personalized note at their place setting. 

On these notes, each girl received an assignment that they weren't allowed to reveal to anyone. These assignments consisted of all sorts of things. For instance, Marianne's (aka Styledevil) was in charge of leading a spontaneous cheers with the smallest glass of the 3 in front of each of us (which consisted of a pink shot with Absolute Vodka....

Maria Skappel (aka Maria Holzweiler) was in charge of kicking the evening off by leading the group in  a "Father Abraham" song and dance...

And then came the food. A 3 course meal was served consisting of entirely raw food!

Then it was time for the main event. Andreas and Susanne announced the launch of Holzweiler Scarves! 

The collection features many things that make it unique. Scarves on a roll so that you can choose the length of your scarf when purchasing. 

Street art prints using some local talent.

And a collaboration with model and animal rights activist Alexandra Ørbeck-Nilsen where the proceeds of her designs go to benefit the cause which she cares so deeply for....animals!

One of the other surprises of the evening was that sporadically throughout the evening, we would chose names from a bowl and the girl chosen would get a gift from the table. Everyone left with something. Genetic Denim Jeans, Gestuz dresses, Humanoid Jacket, Hunkydory sweaters....just to name a few.

One of the final touches of the evening was a bit of whimsy. More than anything, the goal of the evening was to have a great time with some great people. Getting to mix a few silly props into that is just an added bonus!

All of the guests also left with a the perfect cure for the next morning....a Super Smoothie gift bag from the girls at Super Nature.
